Anduril: Sword of King Elessar
The sword was put together as Narsil and was wielded by Elendil until it shattered in Elendil's defeat at the siege of Barad-dûr. Aragorn inherited the shards of Narsil as the heir of Elendil. The sword was put back together in Rivendell and Aragorn then named it Anduril, meaning the Flame of the West. This sword is truely the sword of swords in the Lord of the Rings mighty trilogy. |

Sting: The sword of Frodo
Bilbo gives Sting, a sword made by elves in the ancient days to Frodo to serve him on his dangerous journey to the evil volcanic mountain. Bilbo carried Sting with him when he eventually acquired the ring from Gollum. He used it to battle the giant spiders of the night. Stings blade glows when Orcs, the violent footsoliders of Sauron, are present. It's light guides frodo from the darkness of the night. |

This evil and ancient sword is wielded by the Witchking, who is the leader of the nine Ringwraiths, the invincible and relentless shadow servants of Sauron. They were once mortal kings of men that Sauron changed with his Ring of Power to bind them all. The Witchking's sword was built by forgers of the dark land of Mordor, under the command of their evil master Lord Sauron. |

Sword of the Ringwraiths
Ringwraiths, also called the Dark Riders or the Nazgul, are the evil shadow servants of Lord Sauron. The nine Ringwraiths represent the nine mortal kings that Sauron corrupted with his Ring of Power. They can sense when the Ring of Power is close and can see the Ringbearer even more clearly when he puts the cursed ring on. The Ringwraith's sword was built by armourers of the dark land of Mordor, under the command of their evil master Sauron. |

Arwen's sword is called Hadhafang which means Throng-cleaver. It once belonged to the Elven Princess Idril, who wed a mortal man and bore Earendil, the father of Elrond who in turn was father to Arwen. Before Arwen's birth, Elrond wielded Hadhafang at the end of the second age of "Middle-Earth," during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men in the great battle against Sauron on the slopes of Mount Doom. Glamdring
An ancient sword carried by Gandalf the White, who is an old but powerful wizard and friend to Frodo Baggins. Glamdring, a magical swords, serves Gandalf in his mission to aid the Fellowship of the Ring. It was made by ancient Elves and is inscribed with runes in the Elven language that say "Turgon Aran Gondolin, Tortha gar a matha Glamdring, Vegil Glamdring gud daelo. Dam an Glamhoth." which translates to "Turgon, king of Gondolin, wields, has, and holds the sword Glamdring, Foe of Morgoth's realm, Hammer of the Orcs." |
